people will mention theme parks in Orlando.

I agree that the parks can be
a very exciting adventure.
They draw millions of people
of all ages every year, but they are not the only Florida tourist attractions worth seeing.

In fact, our first trip to Florida
in 1999 led my family to the
beautiful beaches of Sarasota
and Fort Meyers.

Since then we made a few more trips to different places in Florida, until finally we moved here for good. It's been seven years now and we are still exploring this land of subtropical scenery, amazing natural wonders, and all-year-round adventures.

So what is so great about Florida?

Warm subtropical climate
fantastic beaches
theme parks
ocean of fishing and diving opportunities
year-round golfing
unique Florida wildlife

In addition, you will find a great variety of restaurants and shopping opportunities.

Nature lovers may enjoy protected areas with abundant wildlife.
Many state and national parks and preserves offer a variety of recreation and sport activities such as canoening, biking, fishing, camping, to mention just a few. Warm weather will let you do all these activities, including camping, all year round.

Florida has so much to offer, that no doubt, everybody will find something exciting to do here.

As there are many reasons why people come to Florida, we’ll show many different faces of this beautiful state, as well as pictures of our favorite locations.
